Jocelyn Mejia, Founder of Femina Psychiatry and Wellness, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She has a Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) certification and over nine years of experience in behavioral health. She specializes in supporting women through various mental health challenges.

She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from MGH Institute of Health Professions. She has worked in various behavioral health settings, including clinics, hospitals, and counseling centers. Witnessing the growing need for perinatal mental health care during the pandemic, Jocelyn pursued specialized training and certification through Postpartum Support International (PSI) to serve this unique population better.

As a bilingual Spanish speaker, she founded Femina Psychiatry and Wellness to expand access to mental health care for women, particularly those in underrepresented communities, including Latine, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. Her goal is to help clients navigate the complexities of womanhood by developing a personalized treatment plan together—whether that includes psychiatric medications, non-pharmacological approaches, or a combination of both—all within a supportive, judgment-free space.

Jocelyn’s services are provided through an independent business: FeminaPsychiatry.com
