Dr. Chrissy Davis, Ph.D (She/Her)

Dr. Chrissy Davis, Ph.D. is a psychotherapist and team Clinical Lead for And Still We Rise. She is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Washington, and is provisionally licensed under the supervision of Dr. Natasha Holmes in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Chrissy believes that everyone can benefit from therapy, and that we all deserve to have a space to learn about ourselves and our relationships. She believes her clients are the experts on themselves, and feels honored each time a client chooses to work with her as they grow and heal. Life can be hard at times, especially within the systems we live, work, and survive in - and Chrissy believes therapy can be a safe space to acknowledge adversity and empower ourselves to move through the world.

Chrissy has a strong passion for sexual violence prevention and survivor support, and received survivor advocacy-focused training from her work at Denton County Friends of the Family. Dr. Davis has specialized training working with domestic violence and supporting college students, and has an ongoing interest in anti-racism work, LGBTQ+ allyship, and workplace burnout prevention. She enjoys helping clients with building healthy relationships, practicing personal accountability, and learning ways to heal our minds and bodies to better manage our mental health. Chrissy holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas, a program focused on multicultural feminist training for counseling psychologists.

Outside of work, Chrissy enjoys creating the perfect playlist, spending time with her loved ones, and hiking to find the best mountain views. She also never misses a week of Saturday Night Live, and is really nerdy about it.

Chrissy is fluent in English.
