Eri Cruz (They/Their)

Eri is a queer, neurodivergent immigrant from Mexico City who brings deep cultural awareness and compassion to their work as a therapist. They specialize in supporting QTBIPOC individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and significant life transitions. Their clients often include survivors of violence, immigrants, disabled and neurodivergent individuals, and those exploring identity and belonging in a complex world.

With a decolonial, anti-racist, and Indigenous-informed approach, Eri integrates psychodynamic theory and trauma-informed care to create a safe, grounded, and collaborative therapeutic space. Their work honors the whole person—mind, body, culture, and community—centering relationships, ancestral knowledge, and resilience.

Eri holds a degree in Clinical Psychology from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and is licensed as a clinical psychologist in Mexico. They also earned a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Smith College. Their professional background includes a wide range of clinical and community-based roles across both Mexico and the United States. Eri provides therapy in both Spanish and English.

In addition to individual therapy, Eri is passionate about working with couples and is committed to creating affirming, nonjudgmental spaces for relational healing.

Outside of their work, Eri enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, and experimenting in the kitchen with recipes that connect them to home and heritage. They are also entering the world of visual activism and are deeply interested in Indigenous and alternative knowledge-sharing practices.

Eri speaks Spanish and English.
