Lucia Valeria Autumn (She/Her)

Lucìa (loo-CHIA) Autumn is a psychotherapist for And Still We Rise. She is a clinical social worker who practices from an eclectic perspective, incorporating aspects of psychoanalysis, narrative therapy, and parts work, among others. She focuses on working with individuals, couples, polyamorous relationship units, and families. Her practice is centered on desire, fulfillment, and the full breadth of human experience. She has an anti-imperialist, collective-liberationist, and family-abolitionist perspective— working with respect and acceptance for the realities of race, class, ability, gender, and sexuality across the lifespan for her clients. As such, she welcomes clients of any background or experience.

She earned a degree in sociology from UMass Amherst, and is about to attain a Masters of Social Work from the Smith College School for Social Work.

Outside the office, Lucìa loves reading, playing piano, and gardening. Some of her favorite pieces of media include Neon Genesis Evangelion (all of them), Night in the Woods, the Metroid series, and Signalis (2022). Her favorite books this year include Decolonial Marxism by Walter Rodney, Trauma Plot by Jamie Hood and Sexuality Beyond Consent by Avgi Saketopoulou. She grew up on Ramapough Munsee lands, and now lives in the Pocumtuc Valley.

Lucìa is only fluent in English (for now).
