Madeleine Lifsey (She/Her)
Madeleine Lifsey is a social work intern for And Still We Rise. Madeleine believes that you are the expert on your experience. She is interested in how somatic and narrative therapies can reframe our stories in ways that serve liberation, healing, and community. Madeleine has spent the last 11 years working with children and families in education and in mutual aid projects such as Food Not Bombs. She holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Poetry from Smith College, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Smith College, and a yoga teaching certificate from Contemporary Yoga, Aotearoa (New Zealand). She is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at the Smith College School for Social Work. Madeleine enjoys vegan cooking, traveling, and saying hi to every dog who looks her way.
