Nhautrey Brown, LICSW (She/Her)

Nhautrey Brown, LICSW, is a licensed Clinical Social Worker, Psychotherapist, and Liberation Consultant at And Still We Rise, LLC. With a deep commitment to uncovering the “why” behind human behavior, she offers culturally responsive, trauma-informed care to youth, adults, and families navigating anxiety, identity exploration, life transitions, and the lasting impacts of systemic oppression.

Nhautrey’s clinical approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented. Grounded in relational and strengths-based frameworks, she integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices to help clients deepen self-understanding, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with their sense of power and purpose.

Beyond the therapy room, Nhautrey is deeply rooted in healing justice and community-centered care. She is committed to creating spaces where Black and BIPOC individuals and families can thrive—where healing is not only possible, but centered and sustained.

Whether working in schools, group settings, or community spaces, Nhautrey is passionate about affirming authenticity, emotional expression, and liberation. She is especially dedicated to dismantling mental health stigma in Black communities and holding space for stories that are often overlooked or misunderstood.

When she’s not in session or building her practice, Nhautrey enjoys meaningful conversations, parenting her daughter with intention, and finding joy in both everyday moments and ambitious dreams.

Nhautrey is fluent in English.
